Silicon Zoo Screen Saver for Windows

The Molecular Expressions Silicon Zoo screen savers contain a wide selection of creatures corralled in our Silicon Zoo collection. Images featured in these screen savers include Daffy Duck, Groucho, Mickey Mouse, Godzilla, Dogbert, Dilbert, Sonic the Hedgehog, the Tasmanian devil and many other oddities such as a Crayola Crayon, a tennis shoe, a whale, horses, automobiles, trains, airplanes, and even space vehicles. The software contains several user-configurable modules that produce varying effects, which can be customized to suit individual tastes. Developed for Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows NT, Windows 2000, and Windows XP, the Silicon Zoo screen saver can be downloaded, installed, and configured by choosing the appropriate links below and following the instructions on the individual pages.

Silicon Zoo Screen Saver Editions

Silicon Zoo: 5 Creature Edition (2.96 MB) - Photomicrographs in the 5 Creature Edition screen saver include Buffalo, Crayon, the USS Enterprise, Godzilla, and Rolex.

Silicon Zoo: 20 Creature Edition (6.17 MB) - Photomicrographs in the 20 Creature Edition screen saver contain some of our most popular images including Dilbert, Dogbert, Godzilla, Lassie, Sonic the Hedgehog, a Thunderbird, and the USS Starship Enterprise.

Silicon Zoo: 40 Creature Edition (10.4 MB) - This medium-sized version of the Silicon Zoo screen saver contains 40 of our most popular images. Included in the software are all the images from the 20 Creature Edition in addition to Daffy Duck, a guitar-strumming T. rex, a shark, the Norse god Thor, a submarine, the Tasmanian devil, and many others.

Silicon Zoo: 60 Creature Edition (14.7 MB) - The 60 creature screen saver contains all of the images in the 20 and 40 creature editions in addition to Waldo, a tennis shoe, a train, the space shuttle, the wedding announcement, the roadrunner and many others.

Silicon Zoo: 80+ Creature Edition (19.9 MB) - This screen saver contains over 80 images from the Silicon Zoo including all of the images from the screen savers above in addition to many logos, slogans, and other doodles.

The Silicon Zoo screen saver is available only with a limited license that allows use of the software on a single computer.

Downloading Molecular Expressions Screen Savers - Immediately upon confirmation receipt of the Molecular Expressions screen saver order (which is accompanied by a license number necessary for software installation), the software can be downloaded from the Molecular Expressions website by following these instructions.

Installing the Silicon Zoo Screen Saver - The Silicon Zoo screen saver software can be installed in a manner similar to other popular Windows packages that are protected by InstallShield software.

Configuring the Silicon Zoo Screen Saver - Users can configure specific properties of the Silicon Zoo screen saver with the standard Windows Display settings panel that can be accessed by right-clicking anywhere on the desktop and choosing the Properties feature from the desktop menu.
