The Moiré Running Horses

The moiré running horses is a pattern designed to simulate the movement of horses. As the lines of the parallel grid move across the horses pattern, an alternating series of images appears to resemble the movement.

Use the alternating "Manual" and "Auto" button below to control whether the grid moves on its own (Auto), or whether you control movement (Manual).
