Köhler Illumination: Interactive Tutorials
Reflected Light Microscopy Optical Pathways
This tutorial investigates the optical pathways in a reflected light microscope. Instructions and a discussion about how to operate this tutorial appear immediately below window.
This tutorial is controlled by the three sliders and the inside/outside button. The field diaphragm, aperture (condenser) diaphragm, and illumination intensity sliders control the light intensity within the episcopic illuminator. The inside/outside button toggles between exterior and interior cut-away views of the microscope.
