Ostracod Video No. 1

Also known as seed shrimp, most ostracods live on the sea floor where they are important scavengers, cleaning up the remains of dead fish. Other species of ostracods live in the ocean waters or in freshwater lakes and streams. A few species are terrestrial, residing in damp areas of forests.
