Chydorus Video No. 156k Stream
Chydorus is a cladoceran, a group of tiny crustaceans, most of which live in fresh water. It is one of the many types of water fleas and is related to the well-known Daphnia. Like most water fleas, Chydorus is a filter feeder, consuming tiny pieces of organic material. It prefers quiet waters and can be found living among underwater weeds, although some species of this genus live in sediments. Questions or comments? Send us an email.© 1995-2022 by Michael W.
