The great religions of the world all have specific objects with historic and spiritual importance to the practice of their faith. Published here for the first time anywhere are thirteen colorful images from the microscope commemorating sacred objects from world religions. These beautiful illustrations were selected from the Molecular Expressions Religion Collection.

Besides those pictured here, other religions represented include Aztec, Christianity, Shinto, Baha'i, and Shamanism. This is the tenth calendar in the Amber Lotus series of microscope photography calendars made from Molecular Expressions images, and this one may be the most fascinating yet. Our photomicrographs are also available as a book, gift wrap, puzzle, greeting cards, and bookmarks.
