Thaumatrope Optical Illusions

Birds in a Cage

Thaumatropes are based on rapid alternation of two images so that they appear to merge together as one. This example uses a pair of birds and a bird cage. The two images will rotate when you click on the birds. To run the thaumatrope, press the "auto" button.
