Thaumatrope Optical Illusions

Birds in a frame

Thaumatropes are based on rapid alternation of two images so that they appear to merge together as one. This example uses three birds and a colored ring. The two images will rotate when you click on the birds. To run the thaumatrope, press the "auto" button.
