Thomson Anchor

We stumbled across this tiny anchor on an SGS-Thomson chip that also contains a cabin cruiser, submarine, and a miniature jet aircraft. Perhaps this chip is associated in some way with military electronics? This photomicrograph was derived from a chip housed in the Smithsonian Institution integrated circuit collection (Sequent computer - catalog number: 1997.0330.018A). |
