IDT Galaxy Microprocessor

The Integrated Devices Technology Inc. (IDT) Galaxy 79RC36100 RISC microcontroller is a highly integrated 32-bit member of the IDT RISController family. This chip implements a "system on a chip", which includes the CPU core, cache memory, system logic functions, and application-specific peripherals. The controller is designed for embedded applications such as printers, network interface cards, communications devices, routers, and switchers. The photomicrograph above illustrates the IDT logo on this integrated circuit as well as several unusual mask alignment targets at the top of the photograph.
