Interactive TutorialsTranslational MicroscopyThis interactive tutorial simulates scanning of a sample under the microscope at a fixed magnification. The sample can be translated back and forth while observing a small portion in the viewfield. To operate the tutorial, first select a sample from the pull-down menu. Next, use the sliders to adjust the sample focus, illumination intensity, and magnification (zoom). You can translate across the sample by positioning the mouse cursor over the white circle in the translational window and holding down the left mouse button while moving the white circle. This circle indicates the area viewed in the microscope port. Click here for help with the translational microscopy tutorial.
