Judaism (Fir Tree)

Photomicrograph of Fir tree

Judaism encompasses a set of beliefs and principles that are applied to all areas of human existence. Daily worship, holidays and ceremonies marking events in individuals' lives are heavily based on history and tradition. One modern Jewish custom provides for the planting of a tree in Israel to commemorate the life of a deceased person, as represented by the microscopic view of a fir tree.
