Christianity (Bread)

Photomicrograph of Bread

Christianity stems from the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth, which are narrated in the New Testament of the Bible. Millions of Christians worldwide re-enact an important episode in Jesus' life, the Last Supper, as a part of worship. Christianity encompasses both the Protestant and Catholic religions. The bread represents the body of Christ in the Eucharist ceremony. The photograph above is a microscopic view of recrystallized extract from the bread used in many Christian faiths.
