Christianity (Baptismal Water)

Photomicrograph of Baptismal Water

Christianity stems from the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth, which are narrated in the New Testament of the Bible. Millions of Christians worldwide re-enact an important episode in Jesus' life, the Last Supper, as a part of worship. Christianity encompasses both the Protestant and Catholic religions. The photograph above is a microscopic view of baptismal water used in many Christian faiths.
