Stirofos is a phenyl organophosphate that is a fast-acting and relatively safe insecticide. In most cases it is used to control common, but damaging, pests that infest livestock. It has been effectively utilized as a spray or dust to kill anything from flies in livestock manure piles to lice and mange on pigs.
