Sanyo in Silicon (Version 2)

The Sanyo Electric Co., Limited was established in 1947 in Osaka, Japan to develop and market electrical and electronic products. Today the company manufactures a broad range of electronic items including video equipment, audio equipment, home appliances, industrial and commercial equipment, information systems, batteries and other products. An important part of the marketing strategy from Sanyo are the specialized integrated circuits that are incorporated into many of the company's products to make them unique. Many of these chips carry the corporate logo, as illustrated above. We have photographed several versions of the Sanyo logo, and we invite our visitors to view another version that is available in the Silicon Zoo.
