3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine is the IUPAC chemical name for a drug more commonly known as MDMA or Ecstasy. This drug is psychotropic and produces a feeling of euphoria that has led it to become one of the most popular "designer" drugs. Side effects vary due to the uncertainty of dosage, but dizziness, nausea, and confusion, and hallucinations do occur quite frequently. This drug is extremely dangerous and we strongly recommend avoiding its use.
