Almost everybody knows that inside the slick plastic casing of your PC there is a bevy of circuit boards, diodes, transformers and wiring, but did you know that it also contains some of the funkiest and detailed artwork around? The inquisitive minds in the Microscopy labs at FSU used high-powered microscopes to uncover a world of personal signatures embedded in circuit chips. Everything from Daffy Duck to a slick-looking sunset is on display at this site, and the fact that these works of art are measured in mere microns makes one wonder about the creative talents of microprocessor creators and their teams.
