Finally, you just never know what might be lurking in the dimmest recesses of your computer chips. No, I don't mean a vagrant virus or some other type of bug -- but artwork -- in this case a tiny image of every high tech worker's favorite office mate, Dilbert.
Brought to our attention by RCFoC reader Phil Philpot, Dilbert's image is but one of many discoveries of micro-art shown at Florida State University's "Silicon Zoo" Web site (http://microscopy.fsu.edu/creatures/index.html). Indeed, you can find often-beautiful high tech etchings of everything from birds to buffaloes to license plates -- even a wedding announcement, and more. See -- you never know what will result from the rapidly changing face of computing -- all it took was a high tech canvas to dispel conventional wisdom that engineers aren't well rounded and artistic.
