The Science Teacher

The Science Teacher is a professional journal for secondary school science teachers. During the 1998-99 school year, The Science Teacher published special thematic issues on the National Science Education Standards, the Third International Mathematics and Science Study, and multicultural education. Throughout the year, TST highlights articles incorporating assessment, cooperative learning, interdisciplinary studies, and problem solving. Recent favorite activities include "Oil-spill Ecology" (October 1998), "Quake Search" (December 1998), and "Nature Network" (April 1999).
