Apollo 16 astronauts Charles Duke and John Young landed the Lunar Lander 'Orion' in the Descartes plains region of the Moon. During their 20 hours of exploration using the second Lunar Rover, the astronauts collected 213 pounds of Moon rocks and soil samples. |
