Optical Illusions:

Color Wheel #4

When first downloaded, the color wheel will turn slowly while the interactive tutorial applet is initializing. Please wait for the wheel to stop turning before pressing the buttons below the wheel.

The rotating color wheel can be run either manually or automatically. To operate the wheel manually, place the mouse pointer somewhere within the wheel and hold down the mouse button. Rolling the mouse pointer around the inside of the wheel will cause the wheel to follow the mouse. Alternatively, you can click on the blue Auto button to initiate automatic rotation of the color wheel. When automatic rotation is activated, the blue button changes into a red Manual button, which will stop rotation of the wheel when clicked. To change the direction of rotation (clockwise or counterclockwise), click on the arrow buttons to the left or right side of the red Manual button.
