A multiple (3) exposure photomicrograph of an Apollo 12 moon rock (the rubble in the foreground), a bead of epoxy resin (the clouds), the field diaphragm of the microscope defocused with a red filter (the sun), and a cluster of blue gel filters (the cloud color). This photomicrograph utilizes both brightfield and polarized light photomicrography.
