FiFi la Femme

FiFi la Femme

This silicon seductress was discovered hiding in a dark corner on a Hewlett-Packard FISO (Fast-In Slow-Out) memory chip used in digital oscilloscopes. The unknown engineer who designed this doodle also named her "Fi Fi" and we added the "la femme" (she looks like a woman to us). Jon Amos, a process technician working with Chip Supply in Orlando, Florida brought this artwork to our attention and also loaned us a copy of the chip for photomicrography.
