Athlon Microprocessor

Featuring enhanced 3DNow! three-dimensional graphics technology with new instructions to enable improved integer math calculations for speech, the AMD Athlon processor feeds instructions and data through a 200-megahertz system bus, which is scalable beyond 400 megahertz. The chip contains three out-of-order, superscalar, fully pipelined floating-point execution units, which handle the 3D graphics and MMX technology instructions.
